Every day feels different, so it makes sense that our yoga practice does too. At The Yoga Tree, we offer both Gentle Flow and Dynamic Flow classes, each with a unique rhythm and focus.
Gentle Flow is soft, slow and supportive. The movements are steady and mindful, with plenty of time to connect with how the body feels. It can help with easing tension, improving mobility and calming the nervous system. This style is wonderful for beginners, for those returning after a break, and for anyone who wants a more restful practice.
Dynamic Flow, including Ashtanga inspired sequences, has a little more pace and strength. Movements link closely with the breath, building heat and stability in the body. It can help improve balance, stamina and focus, all while leaving you with a sense of energised clarity.
There is no better or more advanced option. Both are simply different ways of moving and listening inward. Some days you may crave strength and challenge. Other days you may need softness and space. The most important thing is choosing what supports you in the moment.
Your practice can change with you. Each class is an invitation to notice how you feel and respond with kindness.
