Ashtanga Moon-Day Practice (hybrid)
Sunday evening class 7;30 - 9PM at the Yoga Tree and ON LINE
Service Description
Moon Day Class In the Ashtanga tradition, Moon Days are a time to pause, rest, and explore yoga beyond the usual asana practice. This class offers a slower, nurturing sequence inspired by Matthew Sweeney’s Moon Sequence—without vinyasas, chaturangas, or jump-backs. Expect few gentle standing and mostly seated postures, hip openers, twists, backbends, and restorative inversions using props or the wall. It’s a practice for all: supportive during times like menstruation, pregnancy, postpartum, or menopause, and deeply beneficial for anyone wanting to slow down, recover from stress or illness, or simply reconnect with the body.
