4-Week Handstand Foundations Course

Service Description
A playful, focused class to build strength, stability, and confidence—upside down. This 4-week course is designed to help you explore and develop the skill of handstanding. We’ll break things down step by step, working on the key elements: strength, alignment, body awareness, and safe techniques for balancing and falling. Expect a strong, dynamic warm-up and lots of time on your hands. You don’t need to be able to handstand already—just come ready to work hard, play, and move beyond fear. This is not a traditional yoga class—we get straight into movement and spend the time working practically, step by step. Each session includes a dynamic warm-up, focused skill-building, and just a short closing wind-down. Bring: Your mat. Blocks and other props are here. Use: Your regular class pass or drop-in. Open to all levels. You don’t need to be able to kick up or hold a handstand—just bring a willingness to try. Not suitable if you’re currently dealing with wrist injuries or have very sensitive/weak wrists, as much of the class involves weight-bearing on the hands. Let’s flip things around and change the perspective!
